The Peak Trail Blazer is an awesome fundraising event for both kids and adults. There are 2 running races.

The 3.5km Tainui Trail for kids and 12.8km Te Mata Peak Trail for older kids & adults.

This is a super fun community event that fundraises for Havelock North Primary School.

PEAK TRAIL BLAZER

ONE PEAK, TWO TRAILS


Tainui Trail

3.5km

Blitz the Tainui Trail on our specially designed course from the Tainui Reserve, up through the trails, and home along Joll Road to finish at Havelock North Primary. Adults are more than welcome on this course too as a chaperone.


Te Mata Peak Trail

12.8km

Starting at Havelock North Primary, head through the Tainui Reserve to the top of Te Mata Peak and back, enjoying the view and fresh air along the way. Sure, there'll be some sweat involved, but the rewards and kudos will be well worth it!

Our highly sought after clubs for the fast ones. The Scorchers Sub 50 & The Hall of Flames Sub 60 minutes clubs. 146 names now hang in our hallowed halls!

TEAM CATEGORIES

    • $90 per SCHOOLS TEAM. (Increases to $105 from 22 March)

    • Each runner must enter individually, stating your TEAM name.

    • Entries are for the Te Mata Peak Trail.

    • If you enter in a SCHOOLS TEAM event, you are automatically entered as an individual for the Te Mata Peak Trail Run.

    • Bring a gazebo and set up beside the finish line to relax in afterwards! (limited numbers so you must contact us so we can allocate you a spot).

    • $90 per SCHOOLS TEAM (increases to $105 from 22 March)

    • Each runner must enter individually & note your TEAM name

    • 3 entries into individual + team event (Te Mata Peak Trail Run)

    • Open to Intermediate & High School students between 11-18 yrs

    • $200 prize for first placed teams in each category + Trophy
